We know that you’re busy and need access to your account info anytime, anywhere. We’re happy to offer our new app so you can do just that.

We sat down with Chris Briltz, Director of Customer Experience, Planning and Research at SaskPower, to talk about the app and how it can help you.

  1. What can I do in the app?

The new SaskPower app has several features. You can…

    • View your account balance and power consumption.
    • Submit your monthly meter reading to ensure your monthly bill reflects exactly what you’ve consumed for power that month.
    • Sign up for power outage notifications. There are 493 different regions to choose from and receive outage updates on your phone, including our progress to restore the power.

I recently used the app myself to enter my meter read. My bill was based on my actual use the next week and I feel more in control of my service!

  2. What does the app do for me?

A lot of people will be happy to find out that the app can provide quick outage notifications for the areas you choose. But that’s not all. You can also report streetlights that are out using an interactive map and use tools to help you analyze your power use. Did we mention you can also receive efficiency tips once a month to help you learn how you can save money on your power bill?

  3. Who is eligible to get the app?

The app is available for all our customers. You don’t have to have an online account with us to use the app, however if you do, you’ll be able to view your account information with ease from your mobile device.

  4. Does it cost any money to download the app?

    The app is completely free!

  5. How can I download the app? Where can I learn more?

Download the app through the Apple App store, or Google Play.
