Turning on your lights is the end result of an electrical journey that began with a generation facility and was made possible thanks to a reliable transmission and distribution system.
Generation
We manage $5.3 billion in generation, transmission and distribution assets. Our company operates three coal-fired power stations, seven hydroelectric stations, six natural gas stations and two wind facilities. Combined, they generate 3,513 megawatts of electricity.

Transmission and Distribution
We maintain approximately 12,212 kilometres (km) of transmission lines and 142,843 km of distribution lines. Transmission lines carry electricity over long distances and operate at 72 kilovolts (kV), 138 kV and 230 kV. Distribution lines normally operate at 25 kV or below.
