Corporate contributions

We are committed to building on our proud history of community support by partnering with many different organizations to help them reach their goals.

Through our Corporate Contributions Program, SaskPower contributes approximately $1 million annually to support non-profit organizations across the province in the areas of education, environment, and community involvement. Those contributions fund and support hundreds of events, activities and initiatives every year.

Through productive partnerships, a spirit of teamwork, and the can-do desire to make a difference, we're working to give back and invest in the future of Saskatchewan communities.

Because Saskatchewan isn't just where we do business. Like you, it's where we love to call home.

Program Priorities

Our Corporate Contributions Program priorities include:

education;
environment; and
community involvement.

We also focus on diversity initiatives directed towards:

Aboriginal people;
visible minority persons;
persons with disabilities, and
women in under-represented occupations.

Financial sponsorship

All registered non-profit organizations and all Saskatchewan educational institutions are eligible for contributions over $100. Events supported must be non-profit, or have proceeds donated to a non-profit organization.

Promotional items

Non-profit organizations, as well as for-profit organizations fundraising in support of a charitable cause, are eligible to receive corporate promotional item support for one program, event, or activity each year.

Conditions

All funds and promotional items must be:

used in Saskatchewan;
used within 18 months of the date of delivery; and
returned to SaskPower if not used.

SaskPower does not donate electricity, electrical services, or other in-kind goods and services.
