Corporate contributions

Each year, SaskPower provides approximately $1 million to non-profit organizations and educational institutions across our province. These contributions fund and support hundreds of events, activities, initiatives, and select capital projects. Through these contributions, SaskPower helps nurture the quality of life we enjoy in Saskatchewan.

Our Corporate Contributions Program priorities include:

education;
environment; and
community involvement.

We also focus on:

diversity initiatives directed towards:

Aboriginal people,
visible minority persons,
persons with disabilities, and
women in under-represented occupations.

Financial sponsorship

All registered non-profit organizations and all Saskatchewan educational institutions are eligible for contributions over $100. Events supported must be non-profit, or have proceeds donated to a non-profit organization.

Promotional items

Non-profit organizations, as well as for-profit organizations fundraising in support of a charitable cause, are eligible to receive corporate promotional item support for one program, event, or activity each year.

Conditions

All funds and promotional items must be:

used in Saskatchewan;
used within 18 months of the date of delivery; and
returned to SaskPower if not used.

SaskPower does not donate electricity, electrical services, or other in-kind goods and services.
