Grant McGrath Member, SaskPower Board of Directors

Grant McGrath is the president and general manager of Western Sales Ltd. He joined Western Sales in Rosetown as a salesman after working for several years at a farm equipment dealership in Alberta. Shortly thereafter, he became the sales manager and took an equity position in the company. In 2000, Mr. McGrath became president and general manager and acquired majority ownership of the business. The $50-million business now has retail locations in Biggar, Central Butte, Davidson, Elrose and Outlook.

He is currently the director of Prairie West Terminal Ltd., a public company with diversified interests in the food and feed business. It is also one of Saskatchewan’s top 100 companies.

Mr. McGrath comes from a farm family in Dodsland, Saskatchewan. He went to high school in Plenty and spent three years at the University of Saskatchewan and Mount Royal College in Calgary before returning to his home province.
