Larry Braun President CEP, Local 649 Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Larry Braun became a SaskPower employee in 1966 and was employed by the corporation for 27 years. He became active in the union in the early 1970's as a shop steward and later as committee chair and branch president of Saskatoon.

Mr. Braun became vice-president of Local 649 in 1988. He took a leave of absence from his position at SaskPower to perform the duties of president of Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union Local 649, which he was elected to in December 1993. He still holds that position today.

Mr. Braun is also an Executive Committee member of SaskEnergy.
