Mike Marsh was appointed vice-president of Transmission and Distribution in March 2007. Marsh joined SaskPower in 1991, following 12 years in the construction industry in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Once at SaskPower, he spent nine years in engineering and maintenance supervisory positions in Power Production, before serving as the manager of Business & Financial Planning in Corporate and Financial Services for six years. Marsh attended the University of Saskatchewan where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He later studied at Queen’s School of Business and earned a Masters degree in Business Administration. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. Marsh represents SaskPower on both the Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) Transmission Council and the CEA Distribution Council and is also the Chair of the Occupational Health and Safety Task Group of the CEA. Marsh is a past President of the local chapter of the Canadian Progress Club - Regina Centre, a service organization offering financial assistance to charities supporting children and wellness, and currently serves as Treasurer. |
