Permanent full-time employees have access to an excellent health benefit program that includes vision, dental, prescription drug and extended benefits coverage for you and your family. For added protection, you are eligible for 15 days of annual paid sick leave and comprehensive long-term coverage. We have a comprehensive group life insurance program.

In addition to the pension plan, our Registered Retirement Savings Plan program is one more way to help you plan for retirement. The SaskPower RRSP program is like adding two per cent more to your salary each year. With a variety of options to choose from, we're able to tailor a plan to best suit your individual needs. Eligible employees can allocate one per cent of their annual salary to increase their health benefits, pension and RRSP, or you may choose to plan to take an extended period of time away from the office under the flex-benefit program. With the deferred salary leave program you may choose to work for four years at 80 per cent salary, then take the fifth year off.

SaskPower operates in a knowledge-based environment and we believe in continuous learning for our employees. We invest in each employees professional development and provide succession planning and leadership development programs. In addition to providing education leave, you may be eligible for tuition reimbursement. We also offer in-house training and have an interest-free computer loan program.
