Our success tomorrow depends on the talent we nurture today. SaskPower offers summer employment and co-op positions for students who want to earn while they learn. Students working at SaskPower experience an exemplary work environment and great benefits:
- Summer students earn between $18.15 per hour to $19.58 per hour
- Co-op student wages start at $18.95 per hour and reach $21.24 per hour
- Summer or co-op engineering students earn from $21.00 to $25.47 per hour
- Labourers and ground testers start at $21.00 per hour
Sponsorship
Sponsorship is another way we show our commitment to nurturing home-grown talent beyond jobs and financial awards. SaskPower supports the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) Palliser and Kelsey campuses with sponsorships that fund the purchase of new equipment, enabling students to learn new skills on state-of-the-art equipment. The skills learned can be directly applied to equipment in many of the SaskPower generating facilities across the province.
