If you find a meter read card in your mailbox, we need you to read your meter and submit your reading to us.
We read most meters every three months, but often there are obstacles blocking us from accessing meters (such as unleashed pets, items stacked in front of meters, etc.), which is why we need you to read your meter and submit your results.
Minimize fluctuations in your power bill by making sure our meter readers can do their jobs.
Reading the dials
- Record the exact position of each dial on the card. If the dial arm is between two numbers, submit the lower number. For example, the meter below reads 79314.




- Using the information you've recorded on the meter read card, submit your reading.
Save paper – save time
Instead of printing the meter reading card, use a digital camera to take a picture of your meter. Use the image in camera to enter the information into the online meter reading form. Then delete the image from the camera memory.
