The meter installation is separate from the service installation and may not occur at the same time.

Gas line installations
SaskPower inspects all gas installations where gas is burned, which includes all the piping and appliances that occur from the gas meter to inside your home. SaskEnergy's role is to install and maintain your gas service and your gas meter.
