We will review the information and provide you with the terms and conditions required before a move can take place.
We need a minimum of 5 working days to accommodate the safe moving of buildings and structures, including farm implements. Additional notice may be required depending on the height and width of the buildings or structures.
Movers are responsible for taking an accurate height measurement. SaskPower may take a measurement to verify.
Saskatchewan Permit Office requires a minimum of 48 hours notice if the proposed route involves travel through a Rural Municipality and/or if the building exceeds 5.18 m in height. Otherwise, 24 hours notice is required. Notice period starts between 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday. If the building exceeds 5.18 m in height, the mover must clear the proposed route with SaskPower, CN or CP, as required, and supply the contact information to the permit office.
Additional regulations that must be followed are set out in Section 465 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
