Frequently asked questions

What information do I need to register for MyPower Account?

You will need to select a user ID and password, as well as enter your account number and meter number. We suggest that you have a copy of a recent bill as well as your power meter number on hand to register.

After you have registered and added your account information, all you need to sign in is your personal user ID and password.

MyPower Account is designed so that each person named on a power bill can register with their own user ID and password.

Where do I find my power meter number?

Your meter number can be found on your power meter. Most power meters are installed outside, however, some may be installed inside your home in the basement. The meter number is on the front of the meter.

Can anyone look at my account information?

No. To view your account online you provide your personal billing information when you register. This ensures that only those that have access to your account information can view your bills online. Once you have registered, you will have a password and unique user ID that will allow you to access only your billing information.

I have multiple accounts with SaskPower. Do I need to register each account?

You can register more than one account per user ID by going to Manage My Account. On this page, you can add accounts, remove accounts, set up the default account that will appear first, and rename accounts. E.g. home, business, cottage, or farm.

What if I forget my user ID or password?

If you forget your user ID, you will have to re-register online.

If you have forgotten your password you can login using your security question and meter number.

What do I do if it says my account is locked when I try to sign in?

Your account becomes locked for 15 minutes if more than five password attempts fail.

Can I pay my bills online with MyPower Account?

At this time we do not offer this service. We encourage you to pay your bills online through your financial institution.

Can I use a printed bill from MyPower Account to make a payment at my bank?

No, bills printed from MyPower Account cannot be accepted at financial institutions.

We offer five ways to pay your bill

Pre-authorized payments -
Pay your bill automatically through your bank account using Pre-authorized Payments.

Pay through your financial institution - Using the paper bill that is mailed to your home, pay through your credit union or bank branch in person. Or pay using telephone or online banking. Your eBills printed from MyPower Account are not accepted in person at financial institutions.

With your paper bill or a printed copy of your eBill:

Pay by mail - Make cheques payable to SaskPower. We must receive payment by the due date on your bill to avoid a late payment charge.

Pay at SaskPower offices - Our customer service offices accept payments during regular business hours . We accept cash, cheques, debit cards and money orders. We also accept SaskEnergy, SaskTel and SaskTel Mobility payments.

After hours, drop payments into night deposit boxes available at all customer service offices.

Pay at SaskEnergy or SaskTel -Pay your SaskPower bill free at any SaskEnergy or SaskTel customer service office during regular business hours. They accept cash, cheques, debit cards and money orders.

Does cancelling MyPower Account or removing an account from MyPower Account mean that my power service will be disconnected?

No. MyPower Account offers you access to your billing information online.

There are three ways to have your power disconnected:

There is a fee for connecting service. There is no fee for disconnecting service.
