The sale of electricity in Saskatchewan is governed by The Power Corporation Act, which grants SaskPower the exclusive right to distribute electrical generation within the province. It requires SaskPower to set standards, guidelines, and rules for facilities interconnected with the SaskPower electrical distribution system.
