Interconnection Agreements and Requirements

Interconnect to the SaskPower power grid at distribution less than or equal to 34.5 kilovolts (kV) or transmission 72kV or above levels.

Distribution interconnection

Small power production facilities interconnect at less than or equal to 34.5kV.

Generation Interconnection Requirements at Voltages 34.5 kV and Below

Transmission interconnection

Medium-sized power production facilities are required to interconnect to the SaskPower grid at 72kV or higher.
