
development of SaskPower's first line technician training manual was a result of the demand from line crews during the rural electrification program. Jim Clark and Don McLeod "wrote" that training manual by dictating notes into a dictaphone in the evening, after building power lines all day. Jim also ensured that safety programming was a part of the corporation's trades training school in Weyburn. Don's crew called him a ramrod because of his emphasis on safety.
