SaskPower takes over the running of the Regina Powerhouse. In 1979 the Regina Powerhouse stops making electricity and eventually becomes the home of SaskPower's Research and Development Centre, which includes the Saskatchewan Science Centre and the Imax Theatre. Both the Saskatchewan Science Centre and the Imax Theatre are fun places to visit.
