Corridor Survey
Environmental field surveys are expected to take place during the fall of 2007, and the spring and summer of 2008.
Centreline and profile surveys on the selected corridor are scheduled to take place during the fall of 2008.
Aerial remote sensing equipment will be used to produce horizontal and vertical positions (terrain) within a defined corridor width. In addition to creating the terrain, the survey will measure the position (described by coordinates) of all other above ground features.
Traditional ground surveys will also be required in certain areas to provide details of any underground facilities and overhead power lines located within the defined corridor.
