GreenPower is offered in blocks of $2.50 (plus GST) to support 100 kWhs of green electricity. A person can choose to sign up for as many blocks as they want.

To assist in the buying process, many people look at “offsetting” the amount of electricity in their homes. For example, if a resident uses about 600 kWhs per month.

  • You would be making up about 16 per cent of your average monthly electrical use when you choose to support one block;
  • You would be making up about 33 per cent of your average monthly electrical use when you choose to support two blocks.
  • You would be making up about 100 per cent of your average monthly electrical use when you choose six blocks.
