The sole supplier of coal to SaskPower is accountable to the Ministry of Environment for its reclamation efforts.

SaskPower is required to report spills as defined by legislation. In 2010, SaskPower had 24 reportable spills. The impact of these spills was either negligible or mitigated appropriately.
