All species, plant or animal, big or small, have a role to play. That's why we manage environmental resources and ecosystems that we affect to minimize loss and support recovery.
- Ducks Unlimited Canada
Ducks Unlimited Canada protects wetlands and we're proud to help them.
- Fisheries
We work with federal and provincial ministries and organizations to study, assess and improve fish habitat.
- Nature Saskatchewan
We fund Nature Saskatchewan programs to promote education, conservation and support research of natural ecosystems and biodiversity.
- Plant Programs
We grow plants for land reclamation.
- Species at Risk Act
We work within the directives of the Species at Risk Act to protect the piping plover, burrowing owl, loggerhead shrike, and a variety of other listed species which are endangered, threatened, or of special concern.
- Sturgeon
We're actively examining sturgeon in Saskatchewan to ensure our facilities don't have negative effects on either population or habitat.
- Invasive Species
With no natural predators, invasive species often explode in population and become a nuisance. Learn how to do your part to protect Saskatchewan against invasive species.
