We've got a sustainable action plan to make sure the province has power today, tomorrow and beyond.
Power today
Our short-term plan addresses the next five years. It focuses on maintaining current supply levels while reducing demand and greenhouse gas emissions. By reducing demand, the current supply levels will go farther, and by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the current supply levels will be less of an impact on the environment.
Power tomorrow
Our medium-term plan focuses on increasing the power supply to meet Saskatchewan's energy needs after 2015. It includes developing partnerships with other utilities, evaluating electricity storage options and working with customers to reduce their demand for electricity.
Power beyond tomorrow
What happens beyond 2033? We know it involves meeting or exceeding clean air legislation and regulations. Our long-term plan includes the generation of enough reliable, sustainable and affordable electricity to power the province, no matter what the future holds.
