Apply for new service

General overview of the new service process

 

Call 1-888-SKPOWER (1-888-757-6937) to apply for new service.

(2 – 4 weeks)

A SaskPower representative may visit you to assess your requirements to prepare a design for your service.

SaskPower will send you a letter of quote outlining the design, conditions of service, construction costs and electrical rate for your new service.

You must approve the design and accept the letter of quote which is valid for only 30 days.

(6 – 8 weeks)

Construction will be scheduled to begin after we receive all required approvals. Please note, before new service can be installed, the Electric Service Requirements (ESR) must be met, and you must purchase and provide us with a paid electrical permit.
