How to read your meter
When we leave a meter reading card in your mailbox, it means a SaskPower
meter reader was unable to gain access to your meter.
You can easily read it yourself and submit the information.
- Read your meter from right to left as shown below:
The above reading is 79314.
- Record the exact position of each dial. If the dial hand is between
two numbers please indicate so.
Note: If you submit
by phone, and the dial hand is between two numbers, submit the smaller
number. (ie: If the pointer is in between 4 and 5, submit 4). If any dial
hand is exactly on a number, look at the dial to the immediate right. If
that dial's hand is not past the zero, record the lower number for the
dial in question.
- When you've recorded each dial on your meter reading card, submit your
reading online
using our secure
meter reading site or MyPower
Account.
