Give your career a kick-start with one of these entry level positions.
- Power Station Operators
Power Engineers Class 3 and 4 operate the boilers, generators and turbines that we all count on to keep us out of the dark. You'll need Grade 12 plus a 4th Class Power Engineer's Certificate and a valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Labourers
Push your body, not a pencil. We need equipment operators, labourers and meter readers. Qualifications vary, but you will need Grade 10 (or equivalent), physical strength and a valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Customer Service
A shining personality, great people skills and a working knowledge of computerized billing systems are what it takes to start a rewarding career in customer satisfaction. Qualifications vary by positions, but computer skills and fast fingers on the keyboard are a must, and an office education is definitely an asset.
- Power Line Technician Apprentices
Not afraid of heights? Enjoy physically demanding work in the great outdoors? We need you! Sun, rain or snow, you are ready to climb the power poles. You'll need Grade 11 (including math and science) a valid Class 5 driver's licence and eligibility to obtain a Class 1A licence.
- Administration Support
You take enormous pride in the smallest of details and love to contribute to an efficient office. Team members require computer skills, a good understanding of office procedures and outstanding interpersonal skills.
