Wind

Ask any Saskatchewan golfer about wind and they’ll tell you we get our fair share of blustery days. Wind turbines use giant fan-like blades to generate electricity when the weather conditions are right. Wind turbines don’t work well when there’s no wind, too much wind (for safety reasons) or when it’s too cold.

Our Net Metering Program and Small Power Producers Program allow you to try wind power for yourself.
