Our Refrigerator Recycling program is back by popular demand! You could save $100 a year on your power bill by recycling your old, inefficient fridges and freezers—and we'll do all the work. We'll pick up and responsibly recycle your old appliances for you (to a maximum of four) and even give you $50 for each unit we collect.

Save money and help the environment
Population growth and increases in the use of electrical devices are contributing to an increase in demand for power in Saskatchewan. Instead of generating more power, we want to help you use less power. By saving power, you save money and help the environment.
Refrigerators have become more efficient over the years. By removing just 1,000 inefficient fridges, the province would save over 1,000,000 kilowatt hours (kWh), which is enough electricity to power 120 homes for a year.
