Understand your device’s power consumption!
1. Know how much power it takes to run
You will find the number of watts used labelled on the device, in the instruction manual, on the packaging it was wrapped in or from the manufacturer's website.
2. Know how often you use it
Grab a notebook and record how long the device is turned on in a day, and how many days a week you use it.
