Moving large loads can be tricky, especially with power lines in the way. Stay safe and let us help you. Apply for an oversized load move - it's easy!
Critical Information Before You Apply
The mover (the person responsible for moving the load) must complete all applications. Once finished, you'll receive a move authorization. If any work is required, an invoice is issued and the mover is responsible for payment. We won't accept third-party payments. A minimum of 5 working days' notice is required for a move.
Essential Details
To complete this application, your mover will need to provide:
- Contact Information
- The loaded height of the oversized load
- The desired route of the move
- The preferred move date and time
Loaded Height Guidelines and Next Steps
- If your loaded height is 5.18 - 6.1 meters (m) high
- At this size, we'll measure and respond with requirements. Assistance may be required, and if not, an authorization to move will be sent.
- These are typically processed within 5 business days.
- If your load height is 6.2 - 8 m high
- At this size, we'll measure and respond with requirements. Crews and specific equipment may need to be booked to help with work such as lifting and cutting lines.
- These services can typically occur within 10 business days.
- If you load height is over 8 m high
- At this size, we'll measure and respond with requirements. A move this large may be considered 'complex' and call for coordination with our Transmission Department.
- We'd like as much advance notice as possible to plan a safe move.
