Building a Better Bill Part 3
August 20, 2019
Over the last couple of weeks, we asked customers like you to help us understand what you would need to see on your bill to make it useful to you.
Almost 1,900 people ranked a list of options we found on bills from power companies across North America. Thank you for all your help.
What did we learn?
Unsurprisingly, the three most useful pieces of information were: the amount due; payment due date; and the power used during that bill period.
The three least useful pieces of information were: your rate code, contact information for our Customer Services team; and instructions for reading your meter.
Now we're wondering what extra stuff we could add to your bill to help you better understand your household’s power use. Just like last time, we looked at bills from power companies across North America and created a list of all the extra options out there.
Activity #3 is a quick and easy ranking activity. It will help us understand what you find useful and what you don’t. And… how often you’d like to see it.
Remember - you’ll find it easiest to complete if you use a computer or tablet.
Coming Soon: Now that we have a better understanding of what’s useful and what’s not, we’ll be sharing a rough mock-up of a new layout for you to try.
