BD3 Status Update: October 2020

During the month of October, the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) facility at Boundary Dam Power Station captured 46,294 tonnes of carbon dioxide. The average daily capture rate when CCS was online was 2,314 tonnes per day, with a peak one-day capture rate of 2,652 tonnes. The CCS facility was online 53% of the month, coming offline for 288 hours to conduct planned maintenance and prepare the equipment for winter.
