Vice-President, Transmission and Distribution
Lynton Howes was named Vice-President, Transmission and Distribution in 2026. He has more than 25 years of experience with SaskPower across the transmission and distribution teams.
Mr. Howes first joined SaskPower in 2001 as a technologist and has since held a series of technical and leadership roles within the company. Prior to his appointment, he served as Director, Stations Operations and Maintenance, as well as Director, Transmission Operations and Maintenance.
He holds a Master’s Certificate in Organizational Leadership from the University of Regina, a Project Management Certificate from Red River College, and a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. He is a Professional Technologist and a member of Technology Professionals Saskatchewan.
