Use waste heat recovery to generate your own power and sell it to SaskPower with the Power Generation Partner Program.
- Waste Heat generation projects must be 100 kW up to and including 5 MW.
- You can submit applications for more than one project. But the total power generated from all projects (renewable and carbon neutral) must be 5 MW or less.

Along with your system cost, you’re also responsible for these program costs:

|Interconnection Costs||$170,000/MW and $43,000/km|
|Operation and Maintenance Cost||1.25% of the project’s total interconnection costs (2% annual escalation)|
|Electrical Inspection||Once accepted into the program, you’re responsible for your own electrical inspection.|
|Power Supply Rate||Electricity consumed by the Project's generation facility will be charged under the applicable rate code.|

You must submit a bid price along with your project application. Your bid price is the amount that you'll be paid for the energy you generate.
For carbon neutral projects, your bid price can’t be more than $70.00/MWh.
Note: We'll use your bid price during the program selection process.

We’re only accepting applications starting on Oct. 23, 2019 at 10 am, and all submissions must be received by SaskPower before Nov. 1, 2019 at 11:59 pm.
You must meet with us before applying. The deadline to request a meeting is Sept. 30th.
