BD3 Status Update: January 2021

During the month of January 2021, the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) facility at Boundary Dam Power Station captured 49,373 tonnes of carbon dioxide. The average daily capture rate when CCS was online was 2,487 tonnes per day, with a peak one-day capture of 2,532 tonnes. The CCS facility was online for 65% of the month, having started the year offline due to issues in the powerhouse.
