May 14, 2024

SaskPower and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 2067 have reached a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

“I am pleased that the members of IBEW have ratified this agreement,” said Dustin Duncan, Minister Responsible for SaskPower. “I’d like to thank both IBEW and SaskPower for their work in reaching this successful agreement at the bargaining table.”

IBEW members approved a tentative agreement during a province-wide vote. The tentative agreement was also approved by SaskPower’s Executive and Board of Directors.

The new agreement will see general wage increases of 3% for 2023 and 2024, and 2% for 2025.

"We appreciate the efforts of the bargaining committees in reaching an agreement that benefits both parties as SaskPower prepares for the energy transition," said Kathryn Pollack, Executive Vice-President, People, Safety and Indigenous and Corporate Relations. “Thank you to our hard-working IBEW members for the critical role they play in keeping the lights on for our customers across Saskatchewan.”

The new agreement will expire December 31, 2025.
