BD3 Status Update: November 2020

During the month of November, the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) facility at Boundary Dam Power Station captured 60,336 tonnes of carbon dioxide. The average daily capture rate when CCS was online was 2,413 tonnes per day, with a peak one-day capture rate of 2,779 tonnes. The CCS facility was online 78 per cent of the month, coming offline for 158 hours due to an unplanned outage at the Boundary Dam Unit 3 power plant.
