BD3 Status Update: March 2021

During the month of March 2021, the carbon capture and storage (CCS) facility at Boundary Dam Power Station captured 75,385 tonnes of carbon dioxide. The average daily capture when CCS was online was 2,431 tonnes per day with a peak one-day capture of 2,507 tonnes. The CCS facility was online the entire month and surpassed 4 million tonnes of CO2 captured since operations began in 2014.
