We’ve experienced a large number of outages as a result of the spring storm, ranging from the Maple Creek to Prince Albert areas. As of 4:30 pm, our Outage Centre has fielded over 9,000 calls since the onset of this extreme weather event.

There are currently 173 outages resulting in 8,450 customers without power. We appreciate customers patience and understanding during this spring storm.

Our crews pride themselves on being able to get the lights back on however due to unsafe weather conditions, a number of communities will be without power overnight.

The communities and surrounding rural customers that will be off overnight may include:

  • Lucky Lake
  • Beechy
  • Assiniboia
  • Gravelbourg
  • Elrose
  • Kyle
  • Colleville
  • Eatonia
  • Whitebear
  • Shaunavon
  • Maple Creek
  • Macklin

We’ll continue to share new information as quickly as we can and have power restored to impacted communities as soon as possible. For any new outages, or communities without an estimated time of repair (ETR) yet, we’ll post updates to saskpower.com/outagemap and our Twitter feed when an ETR is determined.

If you experience a new outage or notice that your area hasn’t been reported, please report the outage online at: saskpower.com/reportoutage or call us at 310-2220.
