BD3 Status Update: February 2020

In February, the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) facility at the Boundary Dam Power Station captured 68,478 tonnes of CO2. The CCS facility was online 88 per cent of the month coming offline for 84 hours to accommodate an outage at the BD3 power station. The average daily capture rate was 2,634 tonnes per day with a peak one-day capture rate of 2,799 tonnes.
