The Regional Evaluation Process (REP) was created to support the regulatory and siting processes for the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) development project. It was a great way to share project information and gather feedback from Indigenous groups, organizations, and stakeholders in the 2 study regions.
As part of the process, we established a committee in each region and held 4 workshops. The workshops included topics like:
- SMR technology
- the region’s identity
- the siting process
- potential economic development
- engagement opportunities
We’ve wrapped up the REP and created a Final REP Report outlining the work and vision of those on the committees. Although the REP is complete, check out the material we shared throughout the process below:
